We are heading to New York! We miss you so so much! It’s been forever since our last Summit in Detroit, Michigan in 2019. Since then so much have happened.
Between a pandemic, caregiving crisis, formula shortage, tampon shortage, removal of reproductive rights, and so much more, women and families have been backed to a wall. And its all starting to feel too much, and too heavy.
Women are a crucial component of building a better future—but working families aren’t getting the support they need at home or at work. Childcare costs are skyrocketing, we continue to navigate various crisis from formula and tampon shortages to displaced reproductive rights. Women are shouldering a disproportionate share of domestic duties, and too few employers are making the necessary changes to enable employed caregivers get ahead at work.
This summit is about looking forward with solutions and optimism.
We will examine innovative and sustainable solutions that are giving us hope, and properly articulate what women and working families need from partners, employers, and society at large. And finally, we will network, find community, and look towards the future with hope as we navigate a rapidly changing landscape at home, in the workplace, and in our society. We are partnering with Indeed, Care.com and Splendid Spoon and many others to bring you a value packed day of solution driven conversations and lots of fun!
