Mamava Partners With MH To Make Space For Lactating Parents At Work
meet Mamava at Start To Flourish NYC
We are so excited to announce our partnership with Mamava! Mamava is transforming the culture of breastfeeding at work to create a healthier society.
Fed up with pumping in bathrooms and borrowed spaces—Mamava’s co-founders, Sascha Mayer and Christine Dodson, applied their decades of expertise in design and brand strategy to solve a problem that was largely invisible: the lack of lactation spaces in workplaces and public spaces. Sascha and Christine took a human-centered design approach, starting with research, talking to breastfeeding people and employers, and creating prototypes of moveable lactation spaces that could be easily implemented into facilities. In 2013 they installed the first lactation pod in the Burlington International Airport (BTV), and Mamava was born.
PS: We can’t wait for moms to feed their babies in the Mamava Pods at the upcoming Start To Flourish Summit in NYC. Tickets are limited, grab yours now.

Join us with AARP as we explore how to better integrate the reality of employees’ caregiving responsibilities into the landscape of work and implement practical solutions to support them. https://bit.ly/3qvs8xw
When we talk about care, business leaders immediately start thinking about the cost of care, huge mistake! Because the ROI on care investment are truly astounding, infact the care economy is valued at over $648BN (cc: Pivotal Ventures The Holding Co.) And I will be speaking on this from the employer and employee caregiver angle, because work-life care is a productivity issue, and productivity issue are economic issues.
I am looking forward to this conversation with the nation's leader in care as we present the business case for care. Join us!
