Announcing Our Global Partnership With Indeed
To Elevate Women And Families In The Workplace And At Home
We are so thrilled to announce our partnership with Indeed, the world’s number one job site, with over 250M unique visitors every month.
The pandemic has laid bare the disproportionate burdens many women shoulder in caring for children or aging parents and highlighted the vital roles they have long played in the labor force. This partnership reinforces Indeed’s commitment to elevating women and families, as the nation grapples with the staggering statistics that nearly 1.5 million mothers are yet to return due to the nature in which the pandemic disrupted children’s lives and suspended their careers.
But as the economy rebounds and employers post record-high job openings, many women have delayed a return to the workplace, willingly or otherwise. Moms within the Mother Honestly community have been forced to pause their careers, pivot, or exit completely. This partnership with Indeed allows Mother Honestly to focus on stopping the prolonged decline of mothers in the workforce and focus the world’s attention on supporting women and the issues that they care about such as paid leave, childcare solutions, flexible work, maternal health and more.
The partnership includes powering the Caregiving and Work Summit on March 25th, and an upcoming Level-Up Summit on May 20th focused on working moms who are ready for the next phase of their career. Through the course of the year, Indeed and Mother Honestly will also be launching a monthly newsletter, podcast, and social media campaign titled “Level-Up”.
It’s no secret the pandemic pushed millions of women out of the workforce. Many moms who managed to maintain their careers scaled back to make time for caregiving. In short, working moms have placed their ambitions on the back burner for too long, and for the first time in our careers, employers are amenable to our needs. Companies are more willing than ever to offer flexible work and other accommodations to tempt women back into the workplace (or keep them from jumping ship). This partnership will help moms who are ready to rev up their career make sense of the ever-changing workplace and prepare for their next level.
Indeed have always been invested in women and families, and offers paid parental leave, back-up childcare, flexible working and unlimited PTO for all employees. Indeed strives to put job seekers first, giving them free access to search for jobs, post resumes, and research companies. Every day, Indeed connects millions of people to new opportunities.
We are so proud of this partnership with Indeed and are so excited to bring sustainable career solutions to women and families as they continue to navigate their lives post-pandemic.
